It was an honor and privilege to collaborate with art collector and gallerist Daniel Saxon on the design of this marvelous book showcasing the extraordinary collection he and his wife, Channing Chase amassed over forty years of artful living in their unique Los Feliz home in Los Angeles.
Published in tandem with an exhibition "Selections from the Daniel Saxon and Channing Chase Art Collection”
at the Koplin Del Rio Gallery in Culver City, California. Featuring works by Ed Moses, Red Grooms, Al Held,
Gronk, Jules Olitski, Nancy Graves, John Valadez, DeWain Valentine, Gilbert 'Magu' Lujan, Michael Steiner,
Lita Albuquerque, Memphis Milano Collection and many other fine artists.
AN EXTRAORDINARY LIFE
A life well lived, with many adventures and transformative personal and professional growth from the Brooklyn music scene in the 1930s and 40s to exciting opportunities in the Los Angeles fashion industry, advertising, and art galleries sectors, spanning the 1920s to present day - while the world transformed and the author’s life expanded. This memoir was a pleasure to design and produce, and it is also a fascinating read.
